Afro Discrimination from a Black Co-Worker?

Usually when we hear about uncomfortable co-worker encounters when it comes to black hair, said co-worker is not black, but writer Christian McKenzie shares a hair-story with theGrio that goes against the grain.

“It’s only 9:05 a.m. and my hair has surprised a black co-worker, but is praised by a white one. I guess black women can be the hardest on each other. I brace myself for the comments I may get throughout the day,” writers McKenzie.
