March 21 marked six months since Lil Scrappy and his wife Bambi had their son Breland, and she threw him a pretty lavish party to celebrate.

Scrappy posted a video of the party’s setup on Sunday, and even he admitted that she did too much, since the baby isn’t even one yet. Bambi also went with a theme surrounded by the term “Boss Baby,” which is what she and Scrappy call Breland.

“His mother wanted to throw him a six month party. He is the Boss Baby. He runs the freakin’ world,” said Scrappy “His mama OD. She done bought everything. She just said she’s just gonna buy it.”

The video also shows some of the items Bambi purchased for the party, which included donuts, cupcakes, balloons, “Boss Baby”-themed pastries, a banner, as well as candied apples.

After the clip was posted, people left various comments saying the former “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star” was spending unnecessary amounts of money that could be used for other things, like her son’s education.

“This is called doing too much. I hope this doesn’t create stupid followers,” someone wrote.

“They gone be bankrupt soon,” another person commented.

“Unnecessary money spent, could go to college fund,” a third person weighed in. “6 more months you guys only to 1 years old then it would be Big and worth the Wait.”

Bambi eventually responded to the chatter and told people Breland’s college money is already squared away, plus she and Scrappy like to party it up whenever there’s something to celebrate.

“His college is paid for in full,” she wrote. “Wherever he wants to attend honey. Life is short. We celebrate everything over here.”

There were also some who defended Bambi and said they also threw a party for their child when he or she turned 6 months.

“Super cute and over the top Exactly how you should be for your children great job @adizthebam turn up baby boy ,” that person wrote.
