On this week’s Bones season 8 episode, “The Friend In Need,” the Jeffersonian team investigates the remnants of a 15-year-old boy. Despite the fact that his mother and few good friends saw him as wise with terrible social skills, the team find out that this apparently innocent youngster was actually involved in criminal activity and had attended a high school party two weeks previous where drugs were present. The investigation takes an ugly turn when an underage female confesses to being raped and the deceased boy’s reputation is destroyed. Meanwhile, with the case’s focus on deception, intern Finn Abernathy (guest star Luke Kleintank) contemplates revealing to Cam (Tamara Taylor) that her daughter Michelle (guest star Tiffany Hines) is in town visiting for the weekend.
Bones is an American crime comedy-drama television series currently in its eighth season, that premiered on the Fox network in the United States on September 13, 2005. The show is based on real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz).
When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless (when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed), law enforcement calls on Brennan (Bones) for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation is an exception.
The rest of the main cast includes Michaela Conlin, T. J. Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor, Jonathan Adams, and John Francis Daley.
