Ashanti‘s bodacious body is apparently a force to be reckoned with.
The “Mesmerize” singer paraded her God-given curves on social media this past weekend, leaving her fans lusting. She took to Instagram Sunday afternoon and posted a cute picture of herself with curve-hugging bottoms showing off her ample derriere.
Ashanti rocked a pair of high-waist, distressed denim shorts, a tan tank top and white and brown $815 Louis Vuitton sneakers. She accessorized her getup with a light brown Los Angeles Dodgers cap, a leopard print scarf, gold anklets, oversized hoop earrings and aviator sunglasses.
Ashanti sexily posed on a sidewalk in West Hollywood, California, according to her celeb’s geolocation, and put her curvy assets that were spilling out of her shorts on display.
She captioned one photo “When that Cali sun hits” and omitted a caption on the other picture.
Her post accumulated over 164,000 likes and a slew of compliments.
“Carmel fine pretty little thing damn girl ”
“Shorts cut in exactly the right spot showing that naked a–“
“This is damn sexy. These shorts give me source magazine vibes!”
“Damn she got that the shorts just have sent a tingle up my spine she naturally bad af”
The 38-year-old singer’s slim thick physique is apparently well earned. In early April, she told People Magazine that she eats clean and works out consistently. She does, however, allow herself to have two cheat days where she can eat anything she wants.
She mostly follows a pescatarian diet.
“I cut out a lot of meat,” she said. “I think again, self-health and self-awareness are so important. All of that stuff is so important to maintaining your body, knowing what’s in your food, the GMO’s and the chemicals, and I’m super aware of this stuff.”
As for music, the R&B artist just dropped a new music video with Soca artist Machel Montano a few weeks ago for the uptempo single “The Road.” She apparently stepped outside of her musical box for their single and embraced the Trinidadian culture.
“Machel and I had really good energy,” the “Rain on Me” artist told Billboard during an interview.
She added, “It was my first soca record, and I wanted to make sure I was pronouncing everything correctly. … My space in music where I live is mid-tempo, songs that tell stories, and soca is sped up 10 times compared to my records, so this was trying something out of the box, and it was a really cool feeling.”
