It looks like “Black Ink Crew” star Ceaser Emanuel found himself in legal trouble during this week’s teaser for Wednesday night’s episode, and viewers need answers.

The tattoo shop owner found himself arrested and behind bars after officers pulled him over for an apparent traffic violation. The clip showed Emanuel angrily driving off in a white car after a verbal altercation with his business partner Paul “Puma” Robinson and his cousin Teddy Ruks, who is the shop manager.

Robinson, Ruks and Emanuel visited their new “Black Ink” shop in Brooklyn, only to find it completely in turmoil, including water damage. Emanuel was furious at Ruks and Robinson, who apparently were in charge of handling the construction of the shop but failed to do so. The shop owner yelled at his crew, sped off in his car and was pulled over moments later.

The next scene in the teaser showed Emanuel’s ex-girlfriend Crystal, the mother of his teenage daughter Cheyenne, playing a voicemail she received from him while in jail. It’s unclear how a call from a jail, where calls are made collect, could have gone to a cellphone, which can’t accept collect calls.

“Crystal, this is your baby father, David,” the “Black Ink” owner said on the voice recording, shocking his cast mates. “The cops pulled me over. I’m in jail.”

Black Ink” viewers had a wide range of mixed reactions and questions for the star.

“Wait Ceas was in jail? For wut!!! Do this nigga gotta mugshot? Yoooo I woulda billed my self out wit his money

“All that money and cant drive legally 🤦 damn David

“Ceaser went to jail? When? I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen tomorrow he need to focus on his businesses”

“He look high asf in that mugshot smoking in the car ? @ceaserblackink Smh Wtf U Do???? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

In August, Emanuel was arrested for driving with a fake license, running a red light and failing to yield to pedestrians as he drove through a Brooklyn neighborhood, according to TMZ. On top of that, the television personality failed to provide officers with a valid insurance card and was immediately arrested and charged with misdemeanor false impersonation on top of other traffic infractions.

It’s unclear how long he was in jail for and when he was released.
