Toya Wright continues to shine in her newfound healthiness.
The rapper and TV personality uploaded a pic to her Instagram page Friday posing casually on the sidewalk in Houston, Texas.
Simply captioning the July 12 shot “H-town,” the star rocked a tied-up t-shirt and bike shorts with a colorful fanny pack and perfectly white Air Force Ones. With her hair slicked back and her sunglasses on, Wright held her hands over her head and posed in profile.
Fans eagerly raved over the “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” star’s pic.
“U look bomb T! Lawd, I would’ve been sweating taking that pic with that Texas heat ”
“Looking good @toyawright ”
“Get it Toya ! You look great…..”
“Damn toya ”
“Yu da baddest Toya I swea @toyawright.”
Wright’s pose firmly shows off how the star has dropped and kept off her past extra weight. For the last several months, the star made getting into shape a priority. In February, she told fans she set out to lose a total of 15 pounds.
“My first day back. … My goal is to lose 15 pounds…. I can do it!” she captioned a video of her getting back into the swing of fitness. “It’s great to have a partner that keeps you motivated. #letsgo #backonmys–t #wnm19 #boocamp.”
Many fans praised her for her mission, but some warned her not to “go Hollywood and get too damn skinny.”
“Your perfect ,” a fan added.
But Wright has been squarely focused on reaching her goal weight. She’s shared footage of her hitting it hard in the gym, doing various cardio workouts, lunges, rowing and curls.
And while appearances matter in Tinsletown, the 36-year-old has made it clear her motivation for getting into shape is focused on health, too. As she disclosed to People magazine in 2017, eating properly helps the star manage fibroids.
“I had to scale back and eat healthier things like fish and salads,” she said. “I found exercising has been more helpful in relieving the symptoms.”
“I do a lot of cardio, like walking and cycling,” Wright added. “At that time of the month, the fibroids flare up, and when I exercise it helps me not feel so much pain.”
