Govan was just released from jail Saturday morning, TMZ reported. The reality star was arrested for felony child endangerment after trying to block her ex-husband’s car while he was driving with their kids inside.
The reality star reportedly picked their twin boys up from school on Friday just minutes before Barnes was scheduled to arrive and pick them up for the long holiday weekend according to their custody agreement. The NBA player confronted his ex-wife and asked the boys to get out of the car, they listened and left their mother’s car into their father’s. Govan reportedly became violent and began following Barnes’ vehicle yelling and spewing profanities. At one point she tried to block Barnes’ car from leaving before someone called the police. When police arrived and took the reality star to jail, Barnes showed them legal custody documents and was allowed to leave with his boys. Govan was released on $100,000 bail after being booked for violating a court order and endangering her children.
Fans were quite confused after Govan and Barnes altercation made headlines because the mother of two had just shared a super inspiring post with Instagram users. She took to social media on Friday and wrote, “Let me tell y’all something… there isn’t a person on this earth that isn’t struggling with something! I don’t care how much money, success, or followers anyone has. We all have problems. You’re not alone.”
