50 Cent’s career may get a little boost as the rapper heads towards the cartoon world. Fox network is getting close to finishing a deal with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, along with producer Randall Emmett and Imagine TV for an animated comedy series based on the entertainer’s childhood.
The untitled project will center on a mischievous, but ambition kid who frequently gets into trouble with his unconventional family and others children in his neighborhood.
50 Cent and his producing partner Andrew Jameson, Jones, Emmett and Imagine TV’s Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo will executive produce. Carl Jones will write the series.
Jackson has transformed himself into the acting world for quite some time now. In 2005, his life autobiographical Get Rich Or Die Tryin, was also loosely based on the rapper’s life before making it big in the entertainment world.
The untitled project is expected to receive a presentation or a pilot order. More details coming soon…
