Gabrielle Union is no longer welcomed to sit courtside at any Miami Heat basketball games thanks to her boyfriend and star player Dwyane Wade. The ‘Think Like A Man’ actress revealed during a recent promo stop with Conan O’Brien that her big mouth resulted in the ban.
“That got killed when I became too vocal. He was like, ‘We’re going to need you to sit a few rows back because I can hear you.'” Could you imagine?! LOL
“I’m like a dance mom: ‘Plie! Plie!'” she explained. “I’ve become like Bobby Knight and like the Great Santini — it’s bad. I scream ‘brick!’ and ‘air ball!'”
Gabrielle insists she’s supportive of Dwyane but someone has to tell him when his game is off.
“Who’s going to tell him if not me? I heckle other players on opposing teams.”
Luckily Dwyane Wade and other players aren’t the only victims of Gabrielle’s heckling – the referees are also targets.
“He hadn’t blown his whistle the whole game,” Union recalled. “I said, ‘You’ll get your Viagra if you just make a call!”
Dwyane likely did the right thing to ban Gabrielle.
