Ka’Oir frequently switches up her hair and fashions, sometimes her looks are a hit with fans, and other times they’re not. In this case, her new hairdo was a miss.
She took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared a photo of her and Gucci apparently leaving the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. They attended the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets game that was held on Tuesday, a game Philly won 122-100 to clinch a 4-1 victory in the teams’ first-round NBA playoffs series.
The couple were dripping with swagger per usual, but Ka’Oir’s mien unquestionably stuck out. She sported a brown Louis Vuitton jumper with matching-color boots and rocked her hair in medium individual braids.
She wrote in her Instagram caption of her and her beau, “We don’t need your approval.”
However, fans commented on their disapproval for her hair.
“U mean her wig with braids in it it looks stupid she should where her real hair .”
“I’m not feeling this Issa braided wig No for $100, Alex.”
“She could’ve wore her hair better than this her hair look like trash
“Imma just cause I may say the wrong thing but i don’t like her hair.”
Others said Ka’Oir could do no wrong.
“She can do no wrong she is beautiful @keyshiakaoir i love her braids .
“If you don’t like her your weird her hair is bomb and so is her outfit .”
It’s pretty evident that beauty and fashion are two of Ka’Oir’s passions. Her business Ka’Oir Cosmetics was one of the first makeup companies to begin selling different colored lipsticks other than red and pinks that people were used to.
She’s apparently always taken pride in being different and unique when it comes to her overall style.
“My friends were all like, you can’t wear blue lipstick because people will make fun of you,” she told The Cut in Feb. 2018 during an interview. “I ignored them, because I’m always a unique person and I want to be over the edge.”
She’s also extremely particular about what goes on her body when it comes to clothing, assuring that she doesn’t wear Fashion Nova. She told the news outlet that she doesn’t want to “be classified as this Black girl with this big ass. I just want to look good in whatever I put on and what makes me happy.”
