However, Live Nation released a statement on Wednesday and said, “Due to unforeseen production issues, a select number of dates on ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ 20th Anniversary Tour have been postponed or canceled… For postponed shows, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.”

The music legend reportedly received a lot of complaints from fans on her Toronto concert July 18. They grumbled about the show’s sound quality and Hill’s immoderate tardiness.

Tour dates for Charlotte, N.C., Raleigh, N.C., St. Petersburg, FL and Virginia Beach have all been canceled. Miami, Florida’s concert date has been moved back to October 15. The Nashville, TN date was moved to October 11 and the Atlanta, Georgia date has been changed to October 13.

The music artist recently sang at the ‘Pitchfork Music Festival’ and performed well on stage. Stereogum wrote, “She was engaged and happy. She looked great. Her voice was strong.”

The “Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” released in 1998 when she was only 23-years-old. The soul-rap album moved music lovers as Hill opened up about her former relationship with Wyclef Jean. She also mentioned in her song “Zion” how music officials wanted to abort her unborn son with ex-husband Roland Marley during the peak of her career.

Hill soon disappeared from the public after the launch of her solo album. However, the star resurfaced a few years ago in 2015 and performed Nina Simone’s song “Feelin Good” on Jimmy Fallon.
