When a fan asked the show’s executive producer Andy Cohen about the sudden change on Twitter he said, “The whole table was reset for next season.”
“Whew Chile! What Went Down At Yesterday’s Reunion Taping NeNe Unfollows Majority Of The Cast Andy Says ‘The Whole Table Was Reset For Next Season.’ Thoughts? #RHOA #RHOAReunion,” read a caption from the “RHOA” fan account that caught the change.
Describing the reunion as “emotionally charged,” another fan account clarified that Cohen was speaking about the dynamics of the women on the show saying in their Instagram Story that if “certain people do return for season 12, I can see it being a slight divide.” The account counted former “RHOA” star Kenya Moore among those who could be “possibly in the mix” next season.
Fans have promptly begun speculating about what could have happened to cause Leakes to pay her cast members dust.
“I guess Cynthia finally got a backbone and disagreed with nene.”
“They must didn’t agree with the whole Gregg situation.”
“Which is probably why she’s pushing so hard for Phaedra to come back ”
“I figured her and Kandi wasn’t gonna last.”
“When it’s ALWAYS you against everyone else, MAYBE ITS YOU!!”
Leakes has had her fair share of tension with the ladies of late. After dismissing the many antics of Sam in Tokyo, she hosted a “Bye Wig” party on Sunday night’s episode of the show. Ther, she tore into Hampton for racing over to her home at husband Gregg Leakes’ request when he went back into the hospital to recover from his colon cancer-related surgery. While they made up, she also took issue with Williams and Burruss going into her closet uninvited.
But the explosive reunion shouldn’t be surprising. Ahead of filming March 7, Leakes promised she was going to bring the heat.
“I’m in the house! Bring it….RHOA Reunion season 11 #OG #Threat #headbitchincharge #watchoutheels,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo yesterday.
