Celebrities becoming angry over fans taking a photo or video of them is nothing new but it got Offset in big trouble, and now a felony warrant has been issued for his arrest.

According to TMZ, the rapper was shopping at a Target store in the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs on Monday, April 22, and when he was about to leave a man named Junior Gibbons recorded him with his cellphone.

“What up, Offset?” the man asked him. “Get the f—k out of my face,” Offset said right back. He then slapped the phone out of Gibbon’s hand, it fell to the ground, and the screen was cracked.

On Friday, April 26, Gibbons filed a police report, and the warrant was issued soon afterward. The phone is said to costs $800, which is why Offset was charged with a felony.

In fact, it’s the second felony the “Father of 4” creator is now facing. In late April, news surfaced that he’d been indicted on a felony gun charge in Clayton County, Georgia, stemming from a traffic stop in which police found three handguns in his 2014 Porsche 911 last year.

The rapper received a felony charge for the firearm due to his being a convicted felon, as well as two misdemeanors, one for the marijuana and another for an improper lane change. His bodyguard Senay Gezahgn was in the vehicle as well and was also charged for the weapons and weed.

During an April court appearance a second felony gun charge against Offset was dropped, but the additional charges still remain. His lawyer would tell reporters the stop was related to his client being rich, black and successful.

The rapper hasn’t mentioned anything about the charge surrounding the cellphone, and he’s due back in court for the 2018 arrest later this month.
