Actor Marion “Pooch” Hall is probably breathing a big sigh of relief, because he won’t have to do jail time after being arrested in Burbank, Calif., for DUI and felony child endangerment in October 2018.

At the time, Hall was accused of being so intoxicated that he let his 2-year-old son Djulian take the wheel, hence the child endangerment charge. Police were notified after a witness saw the little boy riding in the father’s lap as the car weaved in and out of traffic.

By the time police arrived, Hall had lost control and run into a parked vehicle, plus the child seat that his son rode in was unattached.

After he took a sobriety test, Hall blew a .08, which is three times the legal limit. The “Ray Donovan” actor could have faced more than six years in prison on the two charges.

The arrest also sparked an investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, which, according to TMZ, wanted to speak with the Hall family to see if there was a pattern of child neglect.

Now Hall’s no-contest plea means the actor escapes with a six-month license suspension, three years of probation and requirements to join a three-month alcohol program and complete a year of parenting classes.

So far the 42-year-old has kept mum about the arrest and accepting the plea deal.
