Rutgers University Gets Unexpected Response After Naming Its First African-American President

In a historic move, Rutgers University has named its first Black president. The New Jersey college announced the appointment of Jonathan Holloway as Rutgers’ 21st president Tuesday, making him the first African–American to head the prestigious institution.
