The 34-year-old mother of two just released her new track titled “Truth” on Friday, December 14 and it’s already an instant hit with fans. The song featured musician Anthony Hamilton singing background vocals and Lee who raps about the hardships she’s endured in life.
The reality star addressed her personal pain on her new single. She revealed she was neglected as a child and that one of her daughters was in jail. She even discussed the reason why she drinks excessively and the sexual abuse she experienced by her uncle. She rhymed, “Can I be honest this ain’t edited for a sketch, I’m still the girl my uncle used to molest, still the girl my mama used to neglect, so I grew up fast and learned how to finesse.”
Several fans commended the VH1 star for speaking her “truth” in the song.
“Part made me cry. ‘Still that girl my uncle use to molest’ this song is really Truth! ”
“Raw I respect she’s speaking openly about some tough s–t she’s been thru.”
