Fans are exclaiming #WakandaForever this weekend as excited movie-goers attend screenings of Marvel’s “Black Panther.” The film, which was highly anticipated ever since the African superhero’s appearance in “Captain America: Civil War,” opened nationwide Friday, Feb. 16.

After glimpsing the royal getups the cast wore to the movie’s premieres around the globe, many decided to catch “Black Panther” wearing outfits inspired by the motherland.

Ahead of the release, celebrities like T.I. and Octavia Spencer bought out screenings for the movie to allow children to see themselves represented on film.

Spencer’s support came during the #BlackPantherChallenge, which was spurred by a New York marketing consultant in January. And on Thursday, with midnight screenings happening around the country, Grand Slam winner Serena Williams helped members of “Black Girls Code” see “Black Panther,” too.

And for those who have seen the film, many are praising the portrayal.

“Black Panther was EVERYTHING and SO SO SO IMPORTANT!” tweeted YouTuber Yousef Saleh Erakat. “The women STOLE. THE. SHOW!”

Questlove said simply, “I’m changed.”

“I’m still on a high from @theblackpanther last night,” tweeted actor Darren Chris. “A goddamn TRIUMPH on every single level. Move over Hogwarts, I gotta get back to Wakanda. #WakandaForever.”
